The Chairman of Ogba–Egbema–Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA), Sir Shedrack Chukwu Ogbogu, has directed all security agencies operating within the Local Government Area to intensify efforts toward maintaining a peaceful and violence-free environment.
He gave the directive during a brief meeting with heads of security formations in his office.
Sir Ogbogu stressed that the protection of lives and properties remains a top priority of his administration, noting that the safety and well-being of the people cannot be overemphasised.
He reiterated that his government has zero tolerance for criminality, acts of violence, and any form of unrest.
According to him, sustainable development can only be achieved in a peaceful atmosphere.
“We can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace,” he stated, underscoring the need for proactive and coordinated security measures across the LGA.
The Council Boss also called on residents of ONELGA to collaborate with security agencies by providing timely and credible information that would aid them in effectively discharging their duties.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting security agencies in ensuring that ONELGA remains safe for residents and investors alike.
