The budget was earlier presented in March to the ONELGA 9th Legislative Council for consideration and approval by the Council Chairman, Hon. Shedrack Chukwu Ogbogu, alongside his Deputy, Hon. Happiness C. Wokocha, and other key council officials.
The signing ceremony took place at the Council’s Secretariat in the presence of the Chairman, Hon. Shedrack Chukwu Ogbogu; the Leader of the ONELGA 9th Legislative Council, Hon. Speaking shortly after signing the budget into law, the Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy across all wards in ONELGA.
He assured residents of the timely completion of ongoing projects, including the advanced drainage system within the Council’s Secretariat and administrative buildings, which are expected to become fully operational in the coming months.
He also highlighted other developmental initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of the people.
Expressing satisfaction with this milestone, Hon. Ogbogu conducted a brief tour for key officials to inspect the progress of ongoing projects within the Council’s Secretariat.
