Hon. Ogbogu (6th right), and the Ibagwa Autonomous Community Delegation

The Chairman of Ogba–Egbema–Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA), Hon. Shedrack Chukwu Ogbogu, has restated his commitment to fostering an all-inclusive administration, assuring the people of Ibagwa Autonomous Community that they will play an integral role in his “Joy Has Come” agenda.

Hon. Ogbogu gave this assurance at his country home in Oboburu when he received leaders and stakeholders of Ibagwa Autonomous Community who were on a courtesy visit.

The delegation was led by His Royal Highness, Eze Ojum Sampson Saturday, the Paramount Ruler of Ibagwa Autonomous Community.

Speaking on behalf of the community, the monarch congratulated the Chairman on his emergence as ONELGA Chairman and pledged the community’s support for his administration.

HRH Ojum noted that the visit was not only to felicitate with the Chairman, but also to affirm their loyalty and readiness to partner with his government for the overall development of the area.

He appealed to Hon. Ogbogu to strategically position indigenes of Ibagwa in the affairs of the Council, to enable them fully benefit from the dividends of democracy.

In response, Hon. Ogbogu expressed appreciation to the people of Ibagwa for the visit and their show of solidarity.

He assured them that his administration would operate an open and inclusive system, emphasizing that no community within ONELGA would be sidelined in the implementation of projects and developmental programmes.

The Chairman reiterated his resolve to ensure equitable distribution of projects and opportunities across all communities in the local government area.
