The Chairman of Andoni Local Government Area, Hon. Prince Lucky Promise Otuo, has assured non-indigenes in the area of his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and peaceful coexistence for all residents of Andoni.
Otuo, who gave the assurance recently during a meeting with the non-indigene community at the Council’s Secretariat in Ngo, urged non-indigenous residents to maintain cordial relationships with their host communities and support the programmes and mandate of his administration.
According to him, every resident, irrespective of place of origin, has a vital role to play in building a peaceful and progressive Andoni.
During the meeting, Chinedu Ekekwe was recognized as Chairman of the non-indigenous community in Andoni.
He was subsequently mandated to nominate five men and five women to constitute his executive team to strengthen communication and foster effective cooperation between the non-indigenous community and the Local Government Council.
Hon. Otuo reiterated his administration’s resolve to build and sustain a united, peaceful and inclusive Andoni where every resident has a true sense of belonging.
