Chairman of Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area (LGA), Barr. James Aforyagha James, has stated his resolve to collaborate with the church and other religious organizations to foster peace, unity, and development in the area.

He expressed appreciation over the church’s role in promoting values, spiritual guidance, and moral integrity among the people.

The Council Chairman, who disclosed this recently during a meeting in his office with the leadership of the Apostolic Church, Opobo Area Maritime Field, thanked the church for their visit

He said it reflects their interest in grassroots governance and community welfare.

Barr. James urged the church to continue praying for lasting peace, unity, and progress not only in Opobo/Nkoro, but throughout Rivers State and Nigeria.

He assured the delegation that his administration is dedicated to positively transforming governance and delivering effective results for the people.

In his address, the Area Superintendent of the Apostolic Church, Opobo Area, Prince Daniel Nicolas Jaja, expressed gratitude to the Chairman for receiving the delegation on short notice.

He conveyed the church’s congratulations to him (Chairman) and his team on their recent electoral victory and shared ideas on how to work together to impact the community positively during his administration.

The visit concluded with a solemn moment of intercession, as Apostle Jaja and other ministers offered prayers for the Chairman and the Local Government Area’s continued success.
