Rivers State Deputy Governor, Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, has expressed grief and deep shock at the sudden demise of Hon. Augustine Ahiamadu, a former Executive Chairman of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area.

In a  statement from the Government House in Port Harcourt on Friday, Prof. Odu described the death of the former Council Chairman as a painful loss, saying his passing was a moment of profound sadness.

The Deputy Governor said she received the news of his demise with a heavy heart, noting that death remained a painful reminder of the fragility of human life and the irreplaceable void it leaves in the lives of family members, friends and associates.

She extended her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the people of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, and all those who shared in his life and Public Service.

The Deputy Governor said the news of his passing was particularly painful to those who knew him and appreciated his contributions to public life in Rivers State.

She urged the family and loved ones of the deceased to find strength and comfort in God at this difficult moment, while praying that the Almighty grants them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable void and grant his soul eternal repose
