The Rivers State Ministry of Education has announced the release of the results of the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) conducted for students across the State.
The Ministry disclosed this in a Public Interest Announcement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Mina Tele Ikuru, on behalf of the Honourable Commissioner for Education.
According to the Ministry, the results are now available to all public and private schools in Rivers State.
It directed all Heads of public and private schools to access their respective schools’ BECE results through the Rivers State Education Management Information System (RIVEMIS) portal at rivemis.riversstate.gov.ng, effective Friday, September 18, 2026.
The Ministry further disclosed that arrangements are underway for the issuance of the hard-copy BECE certificates, adding that the date for their collection will be communicated subsequently.
The statement emphasised that the certificates will be provided to both public and private schools free of charge, in line with the State Government’s commitment to ensuring that students and their parents are not subjected to unnecessary financial burdens in obtaining their certificates.
The Ministry urged all Heads of schools and other concerned stakeholders to take note of the announcement and comply accordingly.
