The Rivers State Ministry of Power, in keeping with its tradition of unity and camaraderie, has organized a send-forth ceremony in honour of its outgoing Director of Finance and Accounts (DFA), Dr. Michael Fred Toby.
The event was held under the leadership of the Permanent Secretary, Engr. Nicholas Wokoma.
Dr. Toby received glowing commendations from management and staff for his warm disposition and professional dedication to duty, qualities many described as exemplary and deeply impactful.
The ceremony, organized by the Accounts Unit of the Ministry, featured goodwill messages and remarks from the unit head and heads of other departments.
A major highlight of the event was the presentation of a parting gift to Dr. Toby in recognition of his service.
In his response, Dr. Toby expressed heartfelt appreciation for the honour, praying for continued love, unity, and divine grace for the leadership and staff as they carry out their responsibilities.
