Chairman of Ahoada East Local Government Area (LGA), Hon. Solomon Abuba Ochoma, has approved the payment of the 2024/2025 Students’ Special Assistance Scheme (Bursary) to eligible students of Ahoada East origin studying in tertiary institutions across the country.
A statement from the office of the Chairman said this gesture is in accordance with a demonstration of his commitment to promote educational excellence in the LGA.
The bursary payment, which is scheduled to commence in the second week of November 2025, will cover all qualified students who have duly completed the registration and verification process conducted by the Ahoada East 2024/2025 Bursary Committee.
The statement further said this initiative underscores the Council Chairman’s support for education and his determination to ease the financial burden on students as they commence a new academic session.
“The bursary aims to encourage academic excellence and empower the youth of Ahoada East to pursue their educational goals without hindrance”, the statement concluded.
